Yosemite National Park

As you can see from the line of cars waiting at the entrance, Yosemite is a very popular destination during the summer. Apparently, when you've been to Yosemite, you've seen everything in California. Of course, no camping spot was available any more. So, in order to sleep inside the park, we went into the backcountry, hiked up the Yosemite falls and slept at the top. The Yosemite falls trail is short (3.5 miles), but very difficult, it goes up 3,000ft ! But Chihiro was in very good shape, and we covered the distance in barely 2 hours. With fully loaded backpacks, this seems to me an amazing time.

	Those stairs were quite scary	Now, the falls are impressive...	... but in August, they become completely dry.
