I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Vision at the California Institute of Technology. My current research activity is about object recognition; in particular I am working on algorithms for the automatic creation of semantic structures for visual data. My previous research activity was about 3D modeling of real objects. In particular, I worked on automatic registration of range and volumetric data, and on construction of 3D model using inexpensive hardware (common 2D cameras).
