Grading policy

50% homework, 50% project. No midterm, no final.

Homework

5 problems sets published on this web site every thursday during the first 5 weeks of class. Due in class on the following Thursday.

Projects

Projects must be chosen by week 5 either from a list published on this web site, or by consultation with instructor and TA. The students will work either by themselves or in teams of two. Each student will give a presentation during the last week of class, and will write a report, due June 3rd. Grading will be based on both presentation and report.
